About us
National Danish Performance Team consists of 28 skilled young gymnasts. We show the best of Danish group gymnastics performed by outstanding athletes and do workshops with locals. Our mission is to contribute to and encourage exercise, cheerfulness and understanding in the world. We will entertain and inspire to an active lifestyle and strengthen healthy living.
World-Class Gymnastics. A journey around the world.
Every two years, DGI sends a team of Denmark’s finest gymnasts on a one-year journey around the world. The team visits schools, sports centres, refugee camps, informal settlements and some of the world’s most iconic stages. Along the way, the team holds 200 workshops, inspiring children and young people around the world to lead healthy and active lives through gymnastics. The journey ends with a tour across Denmark, featuring an impressive show created and shaped throughout the team’s journey around the world.
